A kitchen of Oak and Salvaged Glass
These cabinets were designed around our client's wish to incorporate salvaged glass and hardware from a family home. The ends of the cabinets are built with long miters to show the oak's quartersawn character on adjacent sides. Hinges and knobs are from full-size doors in the family's original Tudor Revival house. The salvaged glass wall tile was painstakingly cleaned and installed by the project's remodeling contractor, Gilbert Construction, of Bloomington, Indiana.Back to Kitchens Gallery
